Hello and welcome to my website!

My name is Alessio Cardillo and I am a post-doc research fellow at the Catalan Institute of Human Paleoecology and Social Evolution (IPHES). My research interests deal mainly with the study of complex systems by means of complex networks under both structural and dynamical point of view. I started my research activity in March 2005, under the supervision of Prof. Vito Latora. In 2014, I obtained my PhD in Physics under the supervision of Dr. Jesús Gómez-Gardeñes at both the Department of Physics of Condensed Matter, and the Institute for Biocomputation and Physics of Complex Systems (BIFI) of Zaragoza (Spain).

I am a member of the COMplex PATHs in Human EVOLution (COMPATHEVOL) group (link) at IPHES. I am also a former member of the Laboratory of Statistical Biophysics (link) at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), of the Non Linear and Statistical Physics (FENOL) (link) group at University of Zaragoza. I am a former member of the ATP group at University of Catania, and of Humanspacelab (link) of Polytechnic of Milan and University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.

In these pages you can found some useful (I hope so) info and links about my work, complex networks, Physics and other stuffs.
