Research transfer group

The research transference and development group is a young but experienced team that belongs to the computing area at BIFI, composed by computing engineers. In this area, three different tasks are mainly carried out:

  • Participation in projects in collaboration with companies and other research groups. These colaborations are focused in different innovating topics such as new technologies in education, BigData, Internet analysis, social networks, distributed computing, etc.. In this context we collaborate at different levels, from small contributions to local companies/research groups to international projects such as European FPVII.

  • Support for the research activity of the institute participating in the development of projects that require software design and development. This group also offers support for the improvement and optimization of programs that already exist, just as consulting for choosing the best technologies and techniques for their development.
